Does anyone know about, or have memories of, the 1971 Christmas Day service broadcast on BBC 1 at 10.30am from St Mary’s Church in Moseley? It was probably an outside broadcast by Pebble Mill (as the building had opened some months before). Barrie Edgar provided the TV presentation.

It is to be featured in the Moseley based, B13 Magazine, and the writer would like more details.

Here is the entry from the Radio Times, courtesy of the BBC Genome project:

“A Family Service

  1. I’m sure that Lorys Davis would remember this occasion. He now livesin Finstall near Bromsgrove. Alternatively, Joan Griffin, who still lives in Moseley may be able to help.
