When the Pebble Mill building was emptied in 2004, prior to being demolished, members of staff were given a piece of the mosaic which was on the exterior wall of the courtyard. I have kept my little square safe for the last decade. I particularly like how the date is written in Roman numerals, like in the end credits of any BBC programme.
