The BBC Technical Instructions (TI’s) are documents that provide detailed information on various types of broadcasting equipment and procedures. They were published by the BBC Engineering Division and frequently updated as things changed or improved. They were available for a wide range of BBC designed equipment and would included circuit designs, circuit board layouts and line up procedures. They often included fault finding charts.
The Pebble Mill TI was issued soon after the building was completed and updated as things changed. This enabled all Engineering staff to have the latest information on the building.
