Sad news I’m afraid. BBC Pebble Mill dresser, Amin Hassan died in his sleep last Saturday (5th Nov 2016). Amin was a very popular character, and had many good friends at Pebble Mill. He worked on numerous productions, particularly dramas, over a period of many years.

So sad to hear of the tragic death of Amin. He was a really nice guy and loved by everyone. RIP.
So sorry to hear this news. Was googling Pebble Mill to show my eldest where I did my work experience and came upon this. I met Amin in 1991 and we went out with each other for a while despite lots of people warning me not to. He was really my first love and although it didn’t work out between us I hope and pray that he did not die alone. My condolences to his family, his brothers Mahmood and Norman and to the rest of his family and friends. I have been happily married for 20+ years but would hate to think of anyone dying alone, least of all someone who had once meant so much to me. RIP Am.
